Overhead Crane Systems Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Overhead Crane Systems Designer to join our Facilities Engineering team at The Boeing Company. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new crane system technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
You will work closely with other engineering teams to ensure that all crane systems meet the highest safety and quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical engineering skills, as well as excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop new crane system technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Conduct site visits to inspect and maintain existing crane systems
• Develop and implement procedures for maintaining and repairing crane systems
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in crane systems
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including design, materials science, and mechanics of machines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
