Senior Vice President of Commercial Financing

The Ladders is in search of a Senior Vice President of Commercial Financing who will take charge of developing, assessing, and finalizing commercial loans, in addition to managing and servicing a diverse commercial loan portfolio. This role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Commercial Financing and collaborate closely with the Senior Commercial Lender.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversees existing client relationships and drives new loan generation.
  • Gathers and evaluates financial and related information to assess overall creditworthiness, including credit histories, background checks, and reference evaluations; as necessary, submits applications to credit analysts for verification and recommendations.
  • Assembles loan documentation and facilitates discussions regarding loan structures with applicants.
  • Advises on the approval or rejection of loans in accordance with established Bank policies and communicates decisions to prospective borrowers; refers to the loan committee for approval when necessary.
  • Ensures that loan agreements are thorough and that loan closings and funding are executed promptly.
  • Identifies and cultivates new commercial lending relationships within the Bank's operational market.
  • Promotes and cross-sells additional Bank products and services as suitable.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree or one to two years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize a high volume of tasks concurrently.
  • Consistently meets objectives and adheres to strict deadlines while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
  • Embraces a collaborative culture and works effectively across the Bank to support strategic growth initiatives.
This position offers a full-time schedule with comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match up to 10%; life insurance; disability coverage; a pension plan after two years of service; and generous vacation and paid time off.
