Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Eligibility Specialist II to join our team at ChildCareGroup. As an Eligibility Specialist II, you will play a critical role in determining the eligibility of families for childcare services and providing them with the necessary support and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Eligibility Determination: Determine the eligibility of families for childcare services by assessing their needs and providing them with the necessary information and support.
  • Case Management: Manage a high volume of case files and data entry daily, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to families and childcare providers, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Policy Adherence: Adhere to state and local policies and procedures, ensuring that all eligibility determinations are made in accordance with these guidelines.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with families, childcare providers, and other stakeholders, providing them with clear and concise information about eligibility and childcare services.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: One to two years of experience in determining eligibility, working directly with customers, and entering information into a database.
  • Skills: Ability to adapt to frequent policy changes, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
