Diagnostic Echocardiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Echocardiographer to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Mobile Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality echocardiogram services to patients in their homes or at various service locations in the local community.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mobile, diagnostic echocardiographic scans for physician diagnosis utilizing portable echocardiography equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.
- Travel to various service locations, including private residences, senior care facilities, and correctional facilities, to perform echocardiography studies.
- Operate portable ultrasonic equipment with cardiac capabilities at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings.
- Process images and review for proper identification and quality control.
- Upload all required documents into company systems according to company protocols.
- Maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting, according to company procedures.
- Ensure that the vehicle is well-stocked with necessary supplies prior to each shift.
- Operate and behave in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
- Orient new staff and train students, if requested.
- Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading cardiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.
- Meet all state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification, and state license to perform echocardiography studies.
- Hold a satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, with a focus in adult echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound studies.
- Be ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation or CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation.
- Have two (2) years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech.
- Be able to perform quality and compete echocardiogram studies and possess excellent organizational skills to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a working knowledge of other departmental procedures and equipment.
- Be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Have basic computer skills to perform date entry.
- Be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
