Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Echocardiographer to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. As a Mobile Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality echocardiographic services to patients in various settings, including private residences, senior care facilities, and correctional facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mobile, diagnostic echocardiographic scans for physician diagnosis utilizing portable echocardiography equipment and appropriate technical knowledge and skills.
  • Travel to various service locations in the local community to perform echocardiography studies for patients.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and protocols while performing echo exams.
  • Process images and reviews for proper identification and quality control.
  • Upload all required documents into company systems according to company protocols.
  • Maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting according to company procedures.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is well-stocked with necessary supplies prior to each shift.
  • Operate and behave in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Orient new staff and train students, if requested.
Requirements
  • Meet all state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification, and state license to perform.
  • Hold a satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, with a focus in adult echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound studies.
  • Be ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation or CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation.
  • Have two (2) years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech.
  • Ability to perform quality and compete echocardiogram studies and possess excellent organizational skills to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
