Diagnostic Echocardiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Echocardiographer to join our team at DispatchHealth Imaging. As a Mobile Ultrasound Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality echocardiographic services to patients in various settings, including private residences, senior care facilities, and correctional facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform echocardiography studies using portable equipment, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- Travel to various locations, including patient homes, to conduct diagnostic exams.
- Collect and verify patient information, order documentation, and other required data prior to procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate portable ultrasonic equipment, capturing high-quality images for clinical diagnosis.
- Process and transmit images, along with associated documentation, to cardiologists in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting, according to company procedures.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as order taking, validation of studies, and customer communication.
- Adult Cardiac Sonographer certification or equivalent, with a satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program.
- ARDMS registration in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation or CCI registration with Cardiac Sonographer designation required.
- Two years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech preferred.
- Ability to perform quality echocardiogram studies, possess excellent organizational skills, and prioritize daily assignments.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
