Key Responsibilities:
  • Support participants of various programs in securing unsubsidized employment after completing their training.
  • Enhance the monthly placement of unsubsidized jobs to meet performance benchmarks.
  • Ensure timely employment placement for participants within the specified contractual limits.
  • Utilize reporting tools to monitor participants nearing the end of their training.
  • Engage with participants to discuss job opportunities and career interests before their training concludes.
  • Assist in refining participant resumes to ensure accuracy prior to employer submissions.
  • Leverage existing employer relationships and conduct outreach to new employers for interview scheduling.
  • Facilitate mock interviews and outreach efforts to gather job leads.
  • Establish and nurture connections with local employers through various outreach methods.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions to identify job opportunities for program completers.
  • Conduct visits to employers and career centers to understand hiring needs and promote program participants.
  • Maintain strong relationships with current employers through regular communication.
  • Act as the point of contact for subsidized employment worksites.
  • Document and report on employer site visits and feedback.
  • Maintain comprehensive employer records and update as necessary.
  • Assist in the collection of participant documentation and employer agreements.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant work experience in workforce development or similar programs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with the local community and its resources.
  • Preferred experience of one to three years in workforce development.

Compensation:
Starting wage: $22.01
Maximum wage: $27.43
