Job Title: Route Sales Delivery

At Prairie Farms Dairy Inc, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Route Sales Delivery Specialist. This role is responsible for delivering products to customers in a timely and efficient manner, while ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver products to customers: Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Manage inventory: Ensure sufficient inventory levels to meet customer demands, while adhering to account inventory control and company distribution procedures.
  • Process paperwork: Submit all customer paperwork and deposits daily, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
  • Maintain records: Maintain proper handheld records for all accounts, including delivery tickets, pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, and vehicle service reports.
  • Load and unload products: Load or unload cases of product manually with hook, handcart or pallet-jack onto and off the truck, ensuring load is properly secured.
  • Stock and rotate products: Stock and/or rotate product on shelves or in cold room, ensuring products are properly stored and rotated.
  • Comply with regulations: Must be able to complete assigned route within DOT time regulations, maintain a valid Class B CDL, and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations.
Requirements:
  • Class B CDL: Must possess and maintain a Class B CDL.
  • High School Diploma or GED: High School Diploma or GED preferred; and one to two years related experience and/or training.
  • Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Communication skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Physical demands: Must be able to drive, stand, walk, kneel, lift and bend required for virtually the entire shift, balance, pull product, climb in and out of truck, and lift and/or move up to six cases on hand truck.
