Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine maintenance on heating and cooling systems to ensure optimal performance and client comfort.
  • Communicate maintenance options and recommendations to clients, adhering to Service Legends' communication standards.
  • Empower clients to make informed decisions regarding their family's safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle.
  • Transport company vehicle to various job sites.
  • Keep accurate inventory records.
  • Exhibit attention to detail and thoroughness in all tasks.
  • Make timely decisions that benefit both the customer and the company.
  • Adhere to a Safety First approach in all work activities.
  • Refer to the Career Handbook for position-specific responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations.
  • Ability to operate various hand and power tools relevant to the trade.
  • Willingness to learn through observation and hands-on experience.
  • Capability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Effective communication skills with team members and clients.
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with colleagues.
  • Understanding of technical documents and regulations.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary.

Preferred Experience

  • One year of experience in HVAC.
  • Basic knowledge of sheet metal work.
  • Familiarity with Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) concepts.
  • NATE certifications are a plus.
  • Sales experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to perform routine physical tasks.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. The employee frequently walks, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. The employee must be comfortable working in confined spaces for extended periods.

Exposure to varying weather conditions, mechanical parts, and moderate noise levels is common.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting wage of $33.00 per hour (dependent on experience) plus bonuses and incentives.
  • Flexible working hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekend work.
