Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist Lead to join our team at Texas Orthopedic Hospital. As a key member of our clinical laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing routine, complex, or specialized bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological, serological, and immunoassay procedures on body fluids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures, including bacteriological, hematological, chemical, immunological, serological, and immunoassay tests.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and medical records staff, to ensure continuity of patient care and meet the needs of our patients.
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in all testing performed.
  • Perform quality control and required proficiency testing according to policy and procedure.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science (MT/CLS) from an accredited institution.
  • MT (ASCP) certification required.
  • At least 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
