Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Medical Technologist to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for fostering an environment of teamwork, quality, and safety for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve departmental specific problems and complaints from physicians, patients, and nursing staff.
  • Perform clinical laboratory testing and review daily reports to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure compliance with quality assurance deliverables.
  • Provide department-specific guidance and training to medical laboratory technicians, technologists, and nursing staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science from an accredited institution.
  • ASCP certification required.
  • 3 years of clinical medical technologist experience.
