Nurse Practitioner

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at St. Anthony El Reno Healthplex. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with complex needs, utilizing your expertise to prioritize and optimize patient flow.
Responsibilities- Collect and analyze comprehensive data to determine patient diagnoses and develop individualized care plans.
- Triage patients to prioritize those requiring immediate attention, ensuring efficient care delivery.
- Implement and coordinate care plans, educating patients and families on health and safety practices.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Demonstrate leadership and expertise in the professional practice setting, staying current with evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensure.
- No experience required, but a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Registered Nurse licensure in Oklahoma.
- Additional certifications, such as Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), are desirable.
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing patient care and safety. You will be part of a collaborative team, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
