We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Soliant Education. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders, evaluating and diagnosing communication disorders, and developing treatment plans.
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions
- Attend meetings and provide reports on student progress
- An associate's degree from a speech-language pathology assistant program or a bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology or communication disorders, plus completion of fieldwork hours and a state-issued license
- Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Weekly pay with competitive salary
