Structural Engineering Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our Bridges & Structures Engineering Discipline for Summer 2025 in our Lansing, MI office.

With 70 offices throughout the United States, we specialize in providing a comprehensive suite of services including civil/site, transportation, geospatial/survey, infrastructure, governmental, geotechnical/environmental, telecommunications, and utilities engineering as well as architectural and planning services.
Responsibilities- Prepare engineering analyses and computations, CAD drawings, technical reports, and cost estimates under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Collaborate as a member of the Bridges team to realize project deliverables and deadlines.
- Put classroom lessons to work in a practical, real-world situation.
- Occasional field work may be required under the supervision of senior engineers or managers.
- Experience and participate in the design of structural projects for other related Infrastructure Division departments.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related program.
- Interest in Structural design preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation to the office.
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possess solid problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
- Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
