Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of engineering analyses and computations, CAD drawings, and technical reports under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Collaborate with the Bridges team to realize project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Participate in the design of structural projects for other related infrastructure departments.
  • Gain experience in a practical, real-world setting and put classroom lessons to work.
  • Occasional field work may be required under the supervision of senior engineers or managers.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related program.
  • Interest in structural design preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to the office.
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
