Caregiver (Support Professional)

BrightStar Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver (Support Professional) to join our team. As a valued member, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to our clients in the Waukesha area and surrounding counties.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing personalized support to our clients, promoting their independence and dignity. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet each client's unique needs and goals.

- A competitive salary of $15-$18 per hour, based on experience.
- A sign-on bonus of $125 after completing 100 hours of shift work.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, and light housekeeping.
- Take and record vital signs, including height and weight, as necessary.
- Assist clients with active and passive range of motion, as defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes.
- Develop and promote a safe environment for quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Educate clients and their families on disease management and prevention strategies.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a caregiver or home care assistant preferred.
- CBRF certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray required.
- Valid driver's license and car insurance preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform varied physical tasks, depending on client mobility.
