We are seeking a dedicated Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Madison Approach. This role is integral to supporting our financial initiatives within a non-profit framework.
Key Responsibilities:- Payment Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling payments related to the organization's Legacy Program, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Charitable Programs Administration: Oversee the administration of the Charitable Gift Annuity Program and the Pooled Income Fund, maintaining detailed records.
- Contract Management: Calculate and prepare contracts, while also updating the annuity database and various financial spreadsheets.
- Fleet Program Oversight: Manage the company's Fleet Program, which includes handling insurance matters and processing fuel-related transactions. Compile and verify renewal information, report insurance claims, and maintain the Car Database.
- Wire Transfer Preparation: Prepare and process wire transfers as needed.
- Contract Updates: Request and verify updated Certificates of Insurance (CIOs) for both new and existing contracts, ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Office Management: Maintain office supplies and coordinate service calls as necessary.
- A college degree (BA, BS) or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for interaction with external professionals and internal team members.
- Numerical aptitude and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
