We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member in Automotive Technology to join our team at College of the Canyons. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Automotive Technology program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and develop curriculum for Automotive Technology courses
- Mentor and advise students in the Automotive Technology program
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning
- Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and activities
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in Automotive Technology
To be considered for this position, you must possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree and two years of full-time equivalent professional experience directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment. Alternatively, you may possess an associate degree and six years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment.
Professional experience includes both work/occupational experience and teaching experience. Teaching and occupational experience may be combined to total the required number of full-time years of experience.
