We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Medical Laboratory Technologies instructor to join our adjunct faculty pool at College of the Canyons. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Medical Laboratory Technologies courses and contributing to the development of our programs.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Medical Laboratory Technologies courses to students of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and achievement.
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and program initiatives.
- Participate in department and college-wide committees and activities.
- Master's degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technologies or a related field.
- Valid California Community College Instructor Credential in Medical Laboratory Technologies.
- Unexpired Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license issued by the State of California Department of Public Health/Laboratory Field Services.
- Two years of experience in the discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Doctoral degree in Medical Laboratory Technologies or a related field.
- Experience in curriculum development and program assessment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
