Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Store Environment Team Lead to maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and provide guidance to team members as needed.

About the Role
The Store Environment Team Lead is responsible for:
• Collecting and disposing of trash following approved procedures
• Dusting and damp mopping floors following approved procedures
• Moving equipment and products for proper cleaning and placing products back in correct placement
• Cleaning assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
• Deep clean key areas of the store, including but not limited to bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways, and other high traffic areas to maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff
• Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly; notify supervisor of supply needs in advance for replenishment
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines
• Maintain positive and respectful interactions with both team members and customers, even in difficult situations, in keeping with the organization's vision and values
• Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other Team Members

Other Duties
This role may also include:
• Providing a fast and friendly check-out experience; executing cash handling to standards
• Engaging customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and completing enrollments
• Assisting with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS)
• Participating in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Supporting shrink and safety programs
• Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; executing Company policies and standards

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time
• Ability to move throughout the store
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment
