Position Details

Title: Tax Administration Specialist

Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 (potential for higher) + bonus

Work Arrangement:
  • Initially, full-time in-office for the first three months. Following this period, employees may work three days in the office and two days remotely, with the understanding that a full return to the office may be required if necessary.


Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tax Administration Specialist to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will possess strong communication abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a professional demeanor. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, forms, and associated payments.
  • Manage tax organizers and transition annual CCH Axcess tax returns.
  • Handle department client correspondence.
  • Work additional hours as required.
  • Track and monitor departmental deadlines.
  • Maintain department work-in-progress files.
  • Provide administrative support to the Tax Partner and Senior Tax Management.
  • Facilitate client onboarding and exits.
  • Organize meals during tax season.
  • Keep track of various deadlines.
  • Coordinate client signature requests with other teams.
  • Process Power of Attorney documents.
  • Request transcripts from the IRS and state agencies.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.


Qualifications

Essential Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-driven with outstanding organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of administrative experience in an office setting.
