The Role

This position offers expertise in supply chain solutions, leveraging Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to maximize value delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Formulating, overseeing, and executing the category strategy, including managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, and specialized procurement initiatives.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost reductions, inventory optimization, and quality enhancements, while ensuring the integrity of business proposals and risk evaluations.
  • Serving as the communication bridge between the organization and suppliers, conveying information clearly while considering production requirements and supplier conditions.
  • Monitoring supplier performance regarding timeliness and production; fostering strong supplier relationships.
  • Supporting the North America region.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Data Analysis - Intermediate Proficiency - Guides stakeholders on the interplay between financial, performance, and operational data; foresees operational challenges related to data collection and its integration into decision-making.
  • Communication Skills - Intermediate Proficiency - Evaluates others' written or verbal communications and provides constructive feedback; tailors documents and presentations for specific audiences.
  • Negotiation Skills - Intermediate Proficiency - Ensures negotiators are aware of complementary yet diverse interests; successfully concludes significant negotiations, both internally and externally.
  • Contract Management - Working Knowledge - Familiarity with policies, standards, and processes for managing and administering contracts; ability to apply appropriate practices for various contractual agreements.
  • Procurement Processes - Working Knowledge - Understanding of purchasing policies, regulations, and procedures; capability to utilize practices for acquiring materials, components, equipment, and services.
  • Supplier Relationship Management - Intermediate Proficiency - Knowledge of supplier relationship management concepts and strategies; ability to address critical issues to fulfill supplier needs and maintain collaborative relationships.
Experience Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Additional Information for Top Candidates:
  • Experience in process improvement and/or project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement functions.
