**Job Overview: Assessment Coordinator Personnel

Position Summary: The Assessment Coordinator is tasked with overseeing, regulating, and managing a variety of evaluation processes, including military personnel assessments and civilian testing. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with established standards, policies, and protocols, thereby safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of assessment materials. The Assessment Coordinator is essential in promoting precise and effective evaluation procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluation Management : Order, receive, oversee, conduct, score, and disseminate results for both military personnel assessments and civilian tests in accordance with applicable regulations and guidance.
  2. Certification Maintenance : Acquire and uphold necessary online certifications such as Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES), military personnel assessments, and Army Personnel Testing Defense Foreign Language Program (DFLP) within the designated timeframe following initiation.
  3. Security Protocols : Maintain stringent control over all assessment materials, promptly reporting any breaches to the appropriate authorities. Ensure adherence to security measures and procedures.
  4. Compliance and Documentation : Fulfill all deadlines and submission requirements for reporting, inventory management, returning assessments, and providing results to relevant agencies/institutions. Dispose of assessment materials in line with regulations.
  5. Guideline Compliance : Conduct evaluation activities in accordance with DANTES/APT Program guidelines, military regulations, and pertinent manuals. Ensure that training and evaluation materials are current and aligned with existing policies.
  6. Record Keeping : Maintain precise records of evaluation activities, including logs, answer sheets, and other relevant documentation as per DANTES, APT, and other examination policies.
  7. Collaboration and Communication : Conduct joint inventories with designated government personnel, maintain communication with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and promptly report any evaluation issues.
  8. Training and Resource Management : Ensure the availability of sufficient assessment materials for military personnel evaluations without delays. Administer the American Language Course Placement Test (ALCPT) in accordance with regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Alternatively, a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in assessment may substitute for the Bachelor's Degree.
  • Successful completion of all required online certifications within two weeks following initiation or notification.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and guidelines including AR 611-5, AR 611-6, AR , AR , USMEPCOM 611-1, USMEPCOM 601-4, and DANTES Examination Program Handbook (DEPH), Volumes I and II.
  • Strong organizational capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Understanding of assessment security protocols and procedures.
  • Commitment to deadlines and ability to perform under pressure.
Note: The position may involve additional responsibilities related to instructional modalities for research or training purposes beyond the scope of the task order.
