Position Overview
The HR Coordinator provides administrative and technical support to our Human Resources function. This role involves analyzing human resources policy and procedures, determining applicants' eligibility, and resolving issues and problems with discretion and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Duties
- Prepare and post job vacancies with internal and external sources, and evaluate candidate job-fit by screening applicants to assess work history, education, and training.
- Perform searches for qualified candidates using relevant job criteria, internet recruiting databases, and other sources.
- Schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Conduct reference and background checks for final applicants.
- Maintain records of applications and resumes, and update the applicant flow log.
- Administrative Duties
- Complete weekly reports and maintain updated personnel, benefit, and medical files.
- Process new hire paperwork, establish and maintain employee files, and update HRIS.
- Other Duties
- Conduct new hire orientation training and support employees with benefit enrollment and change requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Two years of Human Resources experience required.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of Applications required.
