About the Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced PR Manager to join its Sustainability and Community Impact team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and executing communications strategies that amplify Amazon's community impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement communications plans to support Amazon's community impact initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute cross-channel communications campaigns
  • Work closely with business teams and leaders to plan for launches and generate news
  • Lead storytelling initiatives across earned and owned channels
  • Manage a team of communications professionals to deliver results
  • Build mechanisms and playbooks to streamline processes and create efficiencies
Requirements
  • 7+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in sustainability, community, or corporate giving environments (preferred)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $188,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
