Accounts Receivable Specialist - Financial Operations
About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Hawthorn Senior Living. The successful candidate will be responsible for recording and monitoring rental activity for retirement communities managed by Hawthorn.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum one year of experience in accounts receivable. Proficiency in problem-solving skills, data entry, and computer software is required.
We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and opportunities for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record and monitor rental activity for retirement communities
- Process payments and manage accounts receivable
- Communicate with residents and staff regarding account inquiries
- Meet departmental deadlines and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year accounts receivable experience
- Proficiency in problem-solving skills, data entry, and computer software
- Ability to work flexible hours if required
Special Consideration Given to:
- SAP software experience
- Medicaid reimbursement knowledge
- Insurance billing expertise
- Multi-Family or Senior Housing A/R experience
