About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Durham Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) team at Duke University Health System. As a APP, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of women's health services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct obstetrics and gynecology patient care, including routine well-woman exams, Pap smears, and management of common gynecological problems.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Analyze clinical practice patterns to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams through verbal and written documentation.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of North Carolina and national certification as a NP or PA-C.
  • At least one year of work experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in women's health, or equivalent clinical rotations as a RN caring for women's health patients.
