Position: Patient Care Coordinator

Location: Dental Office

We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Coordinator with a background in medical or dental reception. The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of relevant experience and hold an active CPR certification. Proficiency in insurance verification, electronic medical records (EMR), and appointment scheduling is essential, along with excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, both in person and over the phone, while addressing inquiries or directing them appropriately.
  • Enhance patient satisfaction and optimize provider time by effectively managing appointment scheduling.
  • Ensure timely patient flow by notifying providers of arrivals and managing service delivery against the schedule.
  • Provide comfort to patients by addressing their concerns and maintaining a welcoming reception area.
  • Maintain accurate patient records by filing and retrieving necessary documentation.
  • Manage patient accounts by collecting and updating personal and financial information.
  • Facilitate revenue collection by accurately recording patient charges and managing third-party claims.
  • Oversee office inventory and equipment by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
  • Assist patients in emergency situations with appropriate responses.
  • Safeguard patient confidentiality by adhering to privacy regulations.
  • Support operational efficiency by following established policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to team objectives by achieving related goals.
