Job Summary

Securitas is seeking an experienced Receptionist/Front Desk Security Officer to manage the office and security services for an assigned account in Princeton, NJ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for assigned account
  • Maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Manage the reception of guests, issue visitor badges, and register contractors, visitors, and other guests
  • Answer phone calls, interact with couriers, and register incoming packages
  • Sort incoming mail, manage stock and invoices, and maintain an appropriate stock of office supplies
  • Support meeting room booking requests, manage setup, and act as front desk for FM issues and requests
  • Liaise with contracted service providers, maintain a professional and clean appearance of the reception and office, and provide support in emergency cases
  • Follow up on incoming mail requests, manage special requests, and support EHS office-related topics
  • Perform tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned account
Requirements
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Reliable means of communication (phone)
  • Reliable means of transportation (public or private)
  • Legal right to work in the United States
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • High School Diploma or GED (willing to complete GED program within six months)
  • Willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
  • Sora License or willing to obtain
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the security industry and/or business management
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
  • Skill in staff supervision, including assigning work and providing training and discipline
  • Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance
  • Understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls
  • Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments
  • Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
  • Use of personal computer and spreadsheet software
  • Planning, organizing, and leadership skills
  • Oral and written communications skills
  • Strong customer service and service delivery orientation
  • Ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures
  • Ability to be an effective leader and member of project teams
  • Ability to take initiative and achieve results
  • Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently
