Job Description:

Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:

Premier Rental Purchase is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, including managing store inventory, supervising store associates, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager: Assist the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store, including managing store inventory, supervising store associates, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Manage Store Inventory: Manage store inventory, including receiving and processing inventory shipments, conducting inventory counts, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Supervise Store Associates: Supervise store associates, including training, coaching, and evaluating their performance.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including responding to customer inquiries, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in managing store operations, including managing store finances, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • DOT Certification: Must have DOT certification (if required by law in your state).
  • Experience: Must have six months of rent-to-own management experience or equivalent in a similar business.
  • Skills: Must have a high degree of precision, accuracy, coordination, and knowledge of operational procedures. Must be able to understand oral and written instructions. Must be able to read, write, and perform arithmetic functions quickly and accurately. Must be able to reason and make independent decisions. Must be able to manage situations with customers and associates.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in changing environments. Considerable walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting are involved. Due to the nature of the business, must determine alternate solutions and deal with the pressures of multiple activities and changes. Additional hours before or after normal business hours may be required. Frequent travel from store to store may be required.

Relationships:

Requires frequent contact with customers, associates, and upper management. Occasional contact with external business associates (distributors, suppliers, service organizations, etc.) is possible. Must communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and associates.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
