Simply Self Storage is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, increasing occupancy and merchandise sales, and maintaining a clean and secure facility.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Focus on increasing occupancy and merchandise sales through effective marketing and sales strategies
- Manage budgets, expenses, receivables, and delinquencies to ensure financial stability
- Perform light property maintenance and partner with vendors to ensure a clean and secure facility
- Provide coverage to other properties as needed and support multiple locations within a district
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail, property management, storage, or customer service environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent and must be 18 years of age
- Preferred experience in retail sales/customer service, hospitality, property management, or store industry
- High level of integrity, accountability, and initiative
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with a POS system
