The role of the Nuclear General Foreman involves overseeing, assigning, coordinating, and assessing the performance of semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel based on their expertise, experience, and job knowledge. This position is critical in supervising and training staff to enhance both the quality and quantity of work output.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor employees to elevate their skills and productivity.
- Recommend training programs to enhance workforce capabilities.
- Translate broad strategies into actionable plans and ensure employees are equipped to execute these plans.
- Ensure compliance with all technical specifications, including adherence to drawings and procedures.
- Oversee manufacturing, installation, operation, testing, and process operations that significantly impact the company's financial performance.
- Monitor job and budget performance across all shifts.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess either a Bachelor's degree or an apprenticeship with a minimum of 4 years of production supervisory experience, or a non-Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of combined production supervisory experience and/or construction experience.
