Job Summary

As a General Foreman at Huntington Ingalls Industries, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel to ensure the quality and quantity of work performed meets company standards. You will also be responsible for recommending training to enhance the skill and productivity of employees and assisting in the development of training procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate semi-skilled and skilled trades personnel
  • Recommend training to enhance employee skill and productivity
  • Assist in the development of training procedures
  • Break down broad strategies into practical action plans
  • Ensure employees are trained to perform these plans

Requirements
  • BS or Apprentice degree with 4 years of production supervisor experience
  • Non-BS/Non-Apprentice with 6 years of combined production supervisory experience and/or CS experience
