Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician Lead to join our team at Pregis. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our production equipment and manufacturing support systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting on Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance checks and analyze technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service manuals
  • Ensure proper function of line manufacturing support systems, including line/lube delivery, resin delivery, and process systems
  • Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees to notify them of problems and concerns that may restrict production efficiency
  • Coordinate and perform repairs on equipment as necessary
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Associate's or Technical School Degree in Mechanics, Electrical, or Computer Science preferred
  • Ability to take coaching well and communicate respectfully with others
  • Promote a positive teamwork culture
  • Knowledge of safety requirements and guidelines in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
Work Environment

This role requires frequent standing, stooping, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.). You will also be exposed to moving equipment, heat, humidity, and noise. Personal Protective Equipment is required.
