Job Summary

As a Cardiac Rhythm Monitor at Kindred Hospital San Francisco Bay Area, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor the heart rhythm patterns of patients using telemetry equipment, detecting any abnormal variances and notifying the RN or supervisor immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor telemetry of patients by observing telemetry monitors for changes in cardiac rhythms.
  • Remove and clean telemetry boxes when patients are discharged from telemetry.
  • Maintain accurate records of telemetry patients.
  • Assign transmitters and wires and set up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients.
  • Troubleshoot transmitters and wires and set up the monitor system for all telemetry ordered patients.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • EKG certification preferred.
  • Ability to accurately identify cardiac rhythms and understand their significance.
