Job Title: Personal Care Assistant Trainer Lead
About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Care Assistant Trainer Lead to join our team at Northeast Independent Living Program, Inc. As a Personal Care Assistant Trainer Lead, you will play a key role in training and supporting PCA consumers in managing their personal care programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train Consumers: Provide information, orientation, and train consumers on how to effectively manage their personal care programs.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Troubleshoot for and with the consumer regarding issues with their individual program which could include one or more of the four core services; peer support, skills training, advocacy and information and referral.
- Maintain Consumer Case Files: Maintain working relationship between PCA Program and Fiscal Intermediary (FI) including, but not limited to; resolving member complaints and sharing information with FI as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or relevant concentration.
- At least one year of experience in providing services to persons with disabilities.
- Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and database management.
- Bilingual with Spanish speaking proficiency required.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year.
