Additionally, the specialist monitors and aids in achieving operational targets through systematic analysis of election patterns and internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Offer first-line assistance to systems utilized by election personnel and voters, addressing basic troubleshooting for computers, software, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Ballot Design and Processing: Utilize election-specific software to create ballots, ensuring correct rotation and layout, and perform necessary logic and accuracy tests in compliance with state regulations.
  • Address Management: Maintain an accurate record of all street addresses to ensure voters are assigned to the correct precincts, including verifying new streets and residences.
  • Operational Analysis: Assist in the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures, tracking election operations over time and preparing analytical reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in high-pressure situations.
  • Proficient in computer software, operating systems, and hardware troubleshooting.
