About the Role

Kiewit is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The selected candidate will contribute to material quantity calculations, routine estimating data preparation, and data compilation for bid proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed estimates for complex underground construction projects
  • Analyze project plans and specifications to create a construction plan for estimating purposes
  • Review project documents to determine scope of work for accurate estimates
  • Conduct site investigations to identify potential challenges
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
  • 1-2 years of construction estimating experience advantageous
  • Individuals with substantial Estimating experience but no degree will be considered
  • Prior experience in Underground projects is beneficial
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
  • Must possess strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally
