Mechanical Field Service Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join our team at Premier Tech. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex mechanical systems, including industrial automation equipment and packaging machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair complex mechanical systems, including industrial automation equipment and packaging machinery.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of their equipment.
  • Analyze customer operations and identify areas for improvement, providing recommendations for optimization and increased efficiency.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt response to issues and proactive problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and effective communication with customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, industrial automation, or packaging machinery maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and thermodynamics.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools, such as CAD, CAM, and FEA analysis.
