The University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Science seeks exceptional candidates for tenure-track faculty positions in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research focuses on the intersection of mechanical engineering and precision engineering for health and medicine. A strong connection to the Center for Precision Engineering for Health (CPE4H) is highly valued.

Successful applicants will be expected to establish a robust research program, secure external funding, and contribute to the department's undergraduate and graduate education programs. We encourage candidates with expertise in areas such as diagnostics and microfluidics, wearable and implantable devices, bioprinting, cellular engineering, drug delivery, nanotechnology, and medical micro-robotics to apply.

The university offers a competitive salary range of $120,000-$180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and access to cutting-edge research facilities.
