Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at the Department of Developmental Services. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioral training and psychiatric nursing care to individuals with IDD
  • Perform on-site direct care, training, and participate in recreational activities with consumers
  • Provide cross-training to community home staff or family to maintain continuity of care

Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate
  • Valid California Driver's License (CDL)
  • Pass a background investigation and drug screening
