Position Overview

InGenesis is looking for a Medical Assistant II to collaborate with our healthcare partner. In this capacity, you will engage in various patient care and clinical responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily preparation and stocking of examination rooms.
  • Assist in preparing patients for their examinations.
  • Support clinicians in the examination room as required.
  • Help manage patient flow, including monitoring waiting times to ensure timely service.
  • Provide educational information to patients and assist with medical history documentation and referral paperwork.
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory and examination room supplies, ensuring timely reordering.
  • Adhere to protocols for infectious waste management and maintain cleanliness in exam rooms and labs.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and potential overtime as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • Current CPR Certification (AHA).
  • At least one year of experience in community health.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems.
  • A minimum of 18 months of experience as a Medical Assistant.

This position is contingent upon contract award.
