Job OverviewSutter Health is currently looking for a qualified Audiologist Level II to join our dedicated team. This role is based in a dynamic healthcare environment where you will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of patients with hearing, balance, and related disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations and provide treatment plans for patients experiencing auditory and vestibular issues.
- Administer procedures related to hearing aid dispensing and ensure quality care for assigned patient populations.
- Utilize sound clinical judgment and expertise to implement patient care plans effectively.
- Engage with patients and their families to foster trust and cooperation through clear communication and attentive care.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and policies to maintain patient privacy and safety.
- Assist in the clinical supervision of support staff and serve as a mentor for students in the field.
Education: Graduate of an accredited audiology program.
Licensure: Must hold a valid AUDIO license as an Audiologist and BLS certification as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recent, relevant experience in the field.
Skills Required- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and knowledge retention.
This position is classified as Per Diem/Casual, with a flexible schedule primarily during weekdays.
CompensationThe pay range for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
