Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at North American Dental Group. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide exceptional support to our dentists and hygienists, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chair-side clinical support and assistance to doctors and hygienists, including charting, operatory setup and cleanup, and patient education.
- Record and review patient health history, make chart entries under the doctor's direction, and ensure completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
- Review the daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments.
- Prepare patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, maintain chain of asepsis, prepare materials, and assist dentists during dental procedures following OSHA guidelines.
- Expose and develop dental diagnostic radiographs.
- Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including compliance with HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-rays, and other required certifications and registrations.
Requirements
- Dental Assisting Certification or prior on-the-job training.
- 1-5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates.
- Radiography/X-RAY certification for respective state.
- CPR Certification required.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service, support, and education to patients.
