Key Responsibilities:
- The Head of People Strategy will utilize their expertise to cultivate a premier HR function.

- Performance Management: Supervise performance management systems, including regular evaluations and goal setting. Provide coaching and developmental support to managers and employees through expectation-setting discussions and progressive improvement plans.
- Talent Management: Conduct regular talent assessments with leadership to align on high-potential talent, development strategies, succession planning, and risks across teams and the organization.
- Onboarding & Training: Oversee the onboarding process post-offer acceptance through company orientation, expediting employee readiness and ensuring a seamless transition to the hiring manager. Support additional training initiatives as necessary.
- Engagement & Retention: Formulate and execute strategies to enhance employee morale, engagement, and retention, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace culture. Design and implement employee surveys and feedback mechanisms to assess employee satisfaction, engagement, and areas for enhancement.
- Benefits: Administer benefits programs, including open enrollment, management, and communication to ensure competitive and appealing employee benefits offerings.
- Compensation: Collaborate with partners and utilize internal and external data sources to develop and sustain competitive salary ranges, commission structures, and incentive plans that align with industry benchmarks and organizational objectives.
- Job Leveling: Establish and uphold a clear job leveling framework to ensure consistent and equitable job classifications, internal mobility, and career progression pathways.
- Employee Handbook: Collaborate with compliance to create, implement, and maintain comprehensive employee policies and a robust employee handbook that aligns with organizational values and legal standards while satisfying external partner requirements.
- Business Partnership: Act as the primary HR liaison for a select group of leaders, in collaboration with the SVP of People.
- Compliance & Legal: Ensure all HR practices and policies adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, remaining informed of changes in employment law and best practices. Partner with senior leaders and external legal advisors on complaints, investigations, and other legal matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR with a robust background in People Operations, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing HR policies, performance management systems, and employee engagement strategies.
- Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to build relationships at all organizational levels.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced environment.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is advantageous.
