Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Job Description:

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Accurately diagnose, repair, and resolve technical issues related to network, desktop, laptop, and Thin Client support, printers, mobile devices, and LAN cable drops.
    • Provide hands-on support for network and server equipment, as well as IT-related projects.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Break-fix and troubleshoot software issues; reimaging computers and hard drives.
    • Backing up and restoring user data, settings, and associated systems administration activities.
    • Assist Service Desk and Remote Desktop Support teams for hands-on coordination efforts.
    • Assist with incident and problem management activities.
    • Be available for on-call support as needed and as business demands.
    • Adhere to ticket response and resolution SLAs as agreed upon with customers.
    • Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and subnetting.
    • Basic understanding of fixing wireless LAN, Ethernet desktop configuration issues.
    • Strong break-fix skills for desktops, workstations, notebooks, and printers.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
    • Strong Microsoft Operating System installation and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience and Qualifications:
    • Experience-based Windows support.
    • Configuration and imaging.
    • Installation environment.
    • General Windows OS troubleshooting.
    • Hardware support and troubleshooting.
    • Troubleshooting hardware issues.
    • Replacing desktop/laptop hardware.
    • Installation of peripheral devices.

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of desktop support.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
