About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team at Symbotic. As a key member of our Customer Operations organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our robotic material handling system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the health of automated adapters, vertical lifts, and robotic vehicles to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot complex system and operational issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve problems.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to site teams and customers, providing training and support as needed.
  • Document and report issues to engineering teams, collaborating on solutions to improve system performance.
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to drive operational excellence, ensuring best-in-class quality, safety, and system performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or software engineering, computer science, automation engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with automated systems, including PLCs, robots, and software languages such as SQL, Linux, and Python.
  • Excellent hands-on experience with assembling, operating, and troubleshooting robotics and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a high sense of urgency and a willingness to learn new equipment and assist team members as needed.
