Key Responsibilities
- Lead the expansion of Ausenco's sustainability and climate change services, ensuring effective planning and execution tailored to diverse client sectors.
- Build and manage a team of skilled professionals to implement sustainability strategies and climate risk adaptation programs.
- Foster collaboration across various departments to enhance the delivery of sustainability services in sectors such as minerals, infrastructure, transportation, renewable energy, and government.
- Oversee the assessment and reporting of Ausenco's carbon footprint, including greenhouse gas reduction initiatives as outlined in our sustainability reports.
- Develop comprehensive strategies and action plans to enhance service offerings and client engagement.
- Establish and maintain a strong reputation as a thought leader in sustainability and climate change, enhancing revenue opportunities and cross-selling of services.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in consulting, particularly within high-growth environments, preferably in engineering or business management.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in developing effective solutions to climate change challenges.
- A strong track record in sustainability consulting, including GHG accounting, adaptation planning, and business integration.
- Familiarity with key sectors such as mining, transportation, and renewable energy.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver impactful presentations.
- Commercial acumen with experience in business development and P&L management.
- A degree in science, engineering, or business; publications in relevant fields are a plus.
- Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills in Spanish, Portuguese, or French are advantageous.
