About the Job:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Hospital at Cone Health supports the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider in a hospital setting to provide high-quality patient care. This role develops and implements hospital-based care plans, prepares equipment for procedures across the organization's hospital systems, and ensures proper techniques and safety precautions are taken in accordance with Cone Health policies.
Key Responsibilities:- SUPPORTS THE CARE TEAM BY COLLECTING PATIENT HISTORY AND MEDICAL INFORMATION TO PROVIDE COMPLETE CASE DOCUMENTATION IN HOSPITAL MEDICAL RECORDS.
- ASSISTS IN DEVELOPING AND IMPLEMENTING CARE PLANS AS DIRECTED BY THE REGISTERED NURSE OR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER TO SERVE PATIENT NEEDS OF THOSE BEING TREATED IN A HOSPITAL.
- COMMUNICATES HEALTH CARE INSTRUCTIONS TO PATIENTS AND FAMILIES IN ORDER TO DELIVER INFORMATION IN A CLEAR WAY FOR THE CARE PLAN.
We require a current LPN license in North Carolina and BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider certification. New LPN graduates must be accepted into the Cone Health LPN Academy. We also require an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) within 4 years of hire.
Salary and Benefits:We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
