Cone Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in a hospital setting. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will support the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider in providing high-quality patient care and developing and implementing hospital-based care plans.

In this role, you will be responsible for collecting patient history and medical information to provide complete case documentation in hospital medical records. You will also assist in developing and implementing care plans as directed by the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider to serve patient needs of those being treated in a hospital.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to work under close supervision and prepare equipment for procedures across the organization's hospital systems. You will also need to ensure that the proper techniques and safety precautions are taken in accordance with Cone Health policies around sterile environments.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will communicate health care instructions to patients and families in a clear and effective manner to deliver information in a way that meets their needs. You will also help respond to emergencies and safety hazards by utilizing personal protective equipment and hospital precautions to avoid patient harm.
